Good morning Campers,

I've been putting this off for too long.
The temp and fuel gauges on my 64 Belv don't work and I ran out of gas yesterday (again).
I've been watching the odometer and trying to be good but I have to fix this.
I don't know if it's the instrument, the board, the power supply (including regulator), wiring or the senders.
They're on the same pod and board, one over the other and the dash lights don't work on them either, if that's a clue.
Does anyone know of a resource site for this? It's come up before here I know and I've been searching my inbox.
I have to fix this. I even went so far as to visit an electrical shop yesterday and he laughed at me.
"I threw those books out years ago.". Friggin' jerk. Go back to the corolla butt breath.

I have a spare cluster, nos boards, nos senders. I tried this last summer but being alone, it's hard.
The service manual talks about using dealer tools, ain't got none. I got frustrated and just put it back together.
Is there some way of checking with a hot wire off the battery? A multimeter?
I'm willing to try anything, any suggestions are welcome.
They could be toast or I could have toasted them myself.

Thanks everyone.
I'm in and out all day.

Tom
