hiya , on e good help to stop rust is put camphor oil tablets under car where 
you park . camphor oil tablets emit a light oil that vapors upward and coats 
underneath. 
 put one in bottom drawer of your tool cabinet every once in a while too , 
help stop tools from rusting . the tools will have a slight oil film on them 
when , but who cares.
