I have a unique vehicle and use case, but I figured this group may be able to help.--Background info: my first car was a ‘64 Newport and I loved the 361 and push button shifter.I have built a 1927 Model T roadster and put a 361 and 1963 727 in it. Shifter is the same part number as a 63 Dart I had, but the buttons are 1960? Dodge in the horizontal pattern. This is a light car, so I swapped the input shaft from a 1970 727 and put in one of the factory style 10.75” higher stall converter.I think my cable adjustment is off a little. When I start the car it lunges forward and even in Neutral the rear wheels want to spin if on jack stands. Shifting to reverse doesn’t feel like it’s getting a positive engagement, it will back up if I give it gas.My question is which way should I be moving the ring to get the Reverse detent line up better - counter clockwise?Thank you!Robert Gideon
