Did they print CERTIFIED on the dial ?  I've had 2  '63 330 police cars. They came with Leece-Nevell alternators, adjustable regulators, HD cooling, large drum brakes, f&R sway bars, CERTIFIED on the speedo face, an extra interior roof brace for a gumball light, mine both had holes drilled in the drivers A pillar for the spot lite and a Plymouth lite switch low in the dash as the original interfered with the spot lite handle. I installed a gumball on the roof, lites behind the grille and on the rear deck, a wig wag switch, whip antenna, Motorola Mocom radio, Federal Director siren and magnetic police shields on doors and trunk.
On one occasion I was stopped by local police who attempted to ticket me and impound the car for impersonating a police vehicle. Upon my objections he showed me his vehicle code which confirmed his charges. As he was writing the ticket, I noticed on the next page, his code book stated "these regulations do not apply to vehicles made before 1970" after showing him his own vehicle code, he ripped up the ticket....

I had one certified after the CHP ticketed me assuming the pickup I had with large tires was not clicking correctly.
