I have a little more info on the tranny today. Ran up to Washington yesterday and got the engine and tranny., and a bunch of other stuff to make the tow home lighter when I bring back the van. The tranny is a 19 spline input shaft unit. Gary Pavlovich told me that in 1967 these changed to a 23 spline input. As for the rest there is a spot for a cable and one arm sticking out which I believe would be your kickdown lever. I looked the van over well and luckily all the cables appear to be there. Also all the correct throttle linkage and kickdown. I am sure this will be a learning experience as these seem to be a red headed step child in many ways.I will post a picture of the tranny later today.NealOn Sat, Sep 9, 2023 at 7:30 AM 62-65-mail-list-club-Gary-H <62-65-mail-list-club@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:I assume that means LoadFlite A-100 cable shift trans were only made in 1964 and 1965.
Which contradicts the Fbook A-100 group's opinion, at least if I understand their opinions as reported by Neal.
Thanks,
Gary H.
