Re: oilpan required



I just spoke to a guy today on the phone with a 65 coronet that swapped his 273 for a 440 in his 65 coronet and he said he used the milodon pan and had no issues. I priced it out onSummit. Man oh man! not cheap. 
  I am seriously thinking of taking one of my many b/rb pans and trying some brain salad surgery on it with my cutoff and mig. I can weld on both sides of the pan and I am sure it will seal.

When I did my 318/440 change over in 2016, I found a 65 426-wedge oil pan on eBay, and it came with a new "Milling oil pump screen" for $125. I was the only bidder, and I added a Millings HD oil pimp, along with Mancini metal wedge tray, and it all fit like a glove, oh and a free OP gasket, but I can't remember the PN.
