It'd be much easier. The Dana is a lot of hastle with cutting the tubes, welding the flanges on, and welding on new perches. I bought the used truck Dana for $100 with 4.10 gears and the flanges were another $60. I still have to buy some Moser or Strange axles. I just thought I would need this in the Savoy since it will have more horsepower and will be a four speed. I doubt if I will be kind to the drivetrain !
