Try it now FREE! caacYkHa/MyDietPatches ------------------------------------------------------------------- Ben, My 440 wouldn't start last weekend. It looked like it was getting fuel and spark (I pulled the coil wire and saw sparks when I was cranking). Drove me crazy until I replaced the coil with a known good used one. Started right up and runs good now. Good luck, Ken -----Original Message----- From: Ben Jr. Morgan [mailto:polara_hotrods@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2005 5:54 PM To: moparwebsite Subject: 383 startup problems my 383 wont start. We're having some cold weather, but I've already winter proofed the motor. It's sporting a pretty raunchy intake but I've never had this problem before. I've cleaned out the float bowls and made sure that the floats weren't stuck, wiped moister out of the distributor and everything. It's getting spark and hits every now and then, but it just wont run! It's always been hard to start cold, but it usually fires right up after a couple of tries. It's in a 64 330 dodge wagon. Any ideas? Glad this kid has a backup car cause this one's my daily driver.Get more from the Web.
