The #2 cylinder header tube contacts the center of the outside part of the
metal bracket that bolts to the block. On my mount, the rubber is completely
inside the metal bracket.

I've sent pictures to Bill Richardson - he's going to take a look and let me
know what my options would be.

When you say motor mount which part to you mean?? The bracket that bolts to
the block? or the rubber damper segment?  I would try to avoid making the
header fit by using anything such as a hammer on these beautiful headers {I
may buy a set just to look at and admire!}  My feeling is that the mount
should be modified for clearance,cutting, grinding, etc. The pass side mount
does not have to "work" as hard as the drivers side anyways. Gussets could
always be added to make up for any weakness that may occure from removing
metal for clearance. You folks would get a kick out of what I did to the
front bumper brackets on the '93 4X4 after one of them broke. Someone of my
ilk might say... Think you used enough extra metal and welding wire there
