Visit Quality Health today and see the coupons, free samples and special offers our members enjoy each and everyday. caab5n1b7yoMza/ Ivo Interactive =========================================================== i am sorry for filling your mailing list with stupid questions/comments. is some blowby tolerable? i think the oil smells a little like fuel, gonna get a second opinion when i can, if it does its not real bad, i been changin it real often. its not really blowin that bad, enough where i cant use pcv. i dont have the openings in the valve covers plugged or anything and its not blowing oil just vapor. should i just be patient and keep running it? thinking maybe they will work themselves into sealing better. or should i change rings? i have heard that hotrodders screw up motors by not leaving them alone and letting them wear themselves in. i dont want to mess with this thing too much. am not bragging and probly not that impressive to you all but this motor turned out awesome as far as top end goes, spreadbores on rpm manifold opens up big time. i got all clearances set out to drag. does a .0025 (i think, cant find paper) wall clearance make for loose rings? do race engines blow like this or do your rings seal up good? i wish i could find the paper that came with the pistons kb215s on 400 rods the deck was squared he had to take .0012 off it (am i putting too many zeros behind decimal point?) i was thinking before it started blowing (probly three weeks after i started running it) he hit the cr just right cause it dont detonate wide open on a hill even on 93 i got it to pop a little on 87 once. i will probly pull the heads and if leakdown shows its leaking bad change the rings. very much dont want to mess with bottom end but if i gotta i gotta.
