RE: {Chrysler 300} G Convert on BAT

The two hand stamped numbers on these VIN tags are often sloppy and unreadable to the point of confusion. The seller’s printed material shows them to be 82. I can detect a probable 84—which is confirmed by the 845 under the BDY code. Wondering what the DMV thinks it is? Perhaps a check of its IBM card would be in order? Just for the Halibut, I processed the tags in my decoder.

In 1961, Chrysler seldom showed the equipment on the car that is standard. Here, p/s, p/b, p/w, p/swivel seat, radio, Torqueflite, et al. By 1969, there were more standard and optional equipment with most shown on the fender tag.

Now soliciting pictures or transcription of letter car and other 1955-1968 Chrysler Imperial fender tags to help me develop and test my free decoder. First four of the VIN would help.

I think 8213 is the VIN for a Windsor or some other model...strange how the VIN on the car for sale on BAT looks like a 82, but I think it's an 84...

What year, model does the 82_____correspond to?

Also wondering if the Montana title for a car in Florida might be linked to the infamous LLC scheme state AG's are now investigating?

I'm sure every one knows that a VIN starting with 8213 is NOT a genuine factory build 300G...all 300G's have VIN's starting with 8413...just saying.

8213154857 appeared today. I recognize it, seems as though I've seen it before, at an auction perhaps. Lots of correctable deficiencies. My apologies should it belong to one of you.
