I would stick to NOS on the kits. From what I have seen, the aftermarket kits do not fit. Also the balls are harder than the housing, so it usually wears first.
Don--Hi all,After checking the u-joints on my F, per a recommendation from Gloria, it appears the ball & trunnion u-joint is getting loose.I did a quick Google search and found a few sources for rebuild kits, but wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation on any particular source over another?I did check the club tech page and saw Bob's video on replacing the boot, as well as John's instructions on replacing the driveline with a modern slip spline driveshaft. Any insights/advice on doing this repair, or replacing with the updated driveshaft, would be much appreciated👍Thank you,Randy--
