Re: {Chrysler 300} 300 H carb

try edelbrock idle screws , the old ones if “ adjusted” a lot get rings of wear around cone cannot adjust right .become on -off action .  E needles are slightly   different angle etc will seal in a new place

Hi Drew;

These dual AFB Carters are a little different because of their

bypass screw. There is a section in the service manual,

see 14-37. If you don't have a service manual you can

use the one on John Holt's site

http://www.jholst.net/62-service-manual/fuel.pdf

Give a shout if you need anything else.

Hello all, Attached is a picture I took today of my uncles 62 Sport. Many of you are aware of this car, it has gotten around a bit the last couple years. It has a inline dual setup just like an H would have with the 413. My question is does anyone know of any videos, or documents I could use for adjusting the carbs? The car runs but has never run quit right, it has always seemed rich to me. I am fairly handy mechanically, but have never had much experience or skill adjusting carburetors. When I took it to this bridge today to take the pictures the car did not want to idle at all. Previously it idled fine, had the carbs and intake off at one point and it has not been right since. I tried to adjust it a while back and made it worse, and now I don't recall which screw I even turned.
