Plastic gear teeth break off one at a time until they are all gone. Replacement gear readily available at Rock Auto for $12 plus shipping. Verify it fits your car.

My passenger window in my 63 is acting up. It goes up,stops then grabs a second moves a bit and stops again. Motor stays running. Sounds like gear is slipping/worn out? Anyone one have any hints on what to look for when I open it up today?
