James, the brace goes between the power steering bracket and the block.   The ps bracket is attached over the compressor brace.

Subject {Chrysler 300} Power Steering Bracket Question

I am reworking a power steering bracket on the ’64.

What I need to know is the brace that comes down from the A/C compressor go between the power steering bracket and block or does it go over the power steering bracket. The share the same bolt.

The bracket is bent a little and I want to make sure that the opening is sized correctly.

Any one the answer on this one? I could not find any photos in the MPB or Service Manual that show this.

Thanks, James
