Thanks Tony, I will consider that option. I do have an alternator and believe the mounting holes for the hardware are already there. [hopefully someone can verify this looking at the pictures] If I can't source the brackets I will have one made as per Dan Reitz instructions. I thought that I read somewhere that later production F's came equipped with alternators.
