If you currently have DOT 3 and there are no problems (leaks, etc), then leave everything ‘as is’. Don’t tempt fate by changing over just because some newsletter told you to do so. And not wanting to do something that would cause break, I mean brake failure, would I be safe to say if I replaced (complete flush) Dot 3 with Dot 5.1 in my G, I would not be compromising safety?
