Re: {Chrysler 300} 1956 300B value/for sale

John,

Thanks for the info.  I had the same experience when Maisto did the model of our 300B.  It was an all-day job and I held the ruler.  The plus for me was I got the protype models of the build.

Hi all,
Re: Steffan Scherer's 300B

Beyond the AACA 1st Jr and Sr., it had the AACA National Post War Car Award and 1st Grand National.
It was the Danbury Mint's template for their 300B model released in 2005. It took a day's worth of photography
( yes, with 8 rolls of real film back then!) and I held the rulers for size perspective of details photographed.

It was a strong running B when I owned it and I did not hesitate to drive anywhere. Also, since it was originally  sold in the Chicago midwest where it is relatively flat, it has a 3.07 rear end so maybe 139MPH might happen!

My dad's wanting to sell the 300B he bought from John Cote back in 2004, VIN 3N561364, and he's having a hard time finding current market value for it. Sure hagerty says this, and recent auctions say that, but I figured the folks here might have their own expert opinions.

Pics attached, and here's the details.

Owner was Ken Block back in the 90s I believe, John Cote was the owner when it won it's AACA Junior in 2003, Senior in 2004, as well as other AACA awards.

My dad purchased in 2005 and it's been climate controlled since then. Definitely not a 100 point car, but very clean and detailed.

If you'd like to make a private offer outside of the group, feel free at: caprockconnections@xxxxxxxxx

Otherwise I'd love y'all's input on what a reasonable asking price would be. Dad's not looking to get rich off it, just looking for it's next home.
