My father put a set of Double Eagles in his 1957 Oldsmobile and they were terrible! The Goodyear dealer never could stop them from vibrating. We had the car back numerous times (I remember going to the dealer and my father being so frustrated, as the tires were very expensive). Eventually, we gave up and switched to Firestone, no more out-of-balance problems.Dyke RidgleyRidgley Racing5500 Walmsley RdDecatur, IL 62521217-865-2300 p217-865-2309 fOn Sat, Jan 14, 2023 at 12:01 PM Nick Taylor <nicksgaragesd@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Marshall,The Double Eagles with the ribbed sidewalls came out in 1961 best I can tell from ads available for them.
