Re: {Chrysler 300} 300F original spare tire, anyone have one in their car?

Marshall,

Thanks for that. If you can take a close up picture of the blue dot and also the back of the tire, that would be great.

I also have the inflator and instruction booklet. I also have a sidewall valve repair kit with a whole set of new blue rubber valves and glue.

Everyone can see these items as well as more Captive Air info here - Viewing a thread - Captive-Air Tires (forwardlook.net)

Here's another item I just came across. I remembered I have an owners manual kit from 8403133491, so I pulled it out and it has the Captive Air service warranty card in it. No other tire warranty information. Unfortunately it wasn't filled out. I'll be uploading all the pages of it to the forum link above.

So check your owners manual kits if you have them and see what tire warranty info it has. My '60 NY wagon is missing its, so I'm out of luck there.

Nick.

My F has the Blue Streak tire as a spare and it had a full set of them on the car. I kept them when I put American Classics on it. I also have the inflation needle and the instructions for use in it's original envelope. Noel took pictures of all of that material in Greenville. I will take and post a picture of the spare later today.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have the original Goodyear Blue Streak spare tire in their 300F? I know the Ziegler car does but the picture I have of it, has an Imperial spare tire cover mounted on it. I can see the same sidewall design on the vintage racing pictures of the car.

I've got a factory picture of a Blue Streak Captive Air tire on a 300F and have never seen any documentation of them being available. I know they made later Blue Streak Captive Air tires.

Thanks, Nick.
