This was one of two things: 1. Mecum not knowing the merchandise, look it at a rediculous reserve they accepted. Entirely possible. I type from experience. They do not know these cars well. 2. Mecum owns the car. More likely given the 300k+ presale estimate. They did sell a serious of NY'r convertibles (57-61) all of which sold for $110k ish. Seemed market correct to me.
