Re: {Chrysler 300} Fw: 300F rear glass moulding.



According to the Standard Catalog of American Cars, all 1960 300F were built in Detroit...so they say in their 1960 Chrysler I.D. numbers section...so can't be a plant difference if they are all built at the same place.

I believe the F's were made in two different plants. Detroit and Los Angeles, I believe.

Hi 300 fans.
I'm just curious as to why some 300F have a single joint at the rear glass upper stainless trim and some have three joints up there.
A running change or just randomly placing the two types??
Working on an F that has a SO # number of 0219 ( Feb 19) and it has a single joint in the upper trim.
My own F has a SO # of 0401 ( April 1st) and it has a three piece affair.
My G has a single rear joint trim...
Anybody know anything about this?
