A 2500 series number is likely a 1965 number. And if it’s a pot metal piece, is more than likely a casting number and not a part number. Probably came in a “parts package” which included a gasket and mounting screws. This “package” would hav had it’s own part number and was more than likely in the accessory dept of the parts books as an add on flyer. . .How about a picture ir 2? Someone may recognize it.
