Re: [Chrysler300] K dash lights, still

If headlight dimmer switch impacts dash lights , you have a miss wire or short  between the red hi beam light and the dash illumination lights .
Or do you mean dash dimmer rheostat ?
While not sure of K all dash lights are orange wire on earlier 300 . Ought to be not too bad to look at each one , one wire must be feeding back . Miss wire or short to 12? Yes pull fuses one at a time find out if a circuit there is feeding back into dash lights . May or may not be one of those. Radio has 12 power and lights inside for instance . Probably clock  too

Update:  circuit boards,  light and wiper switch were replaced.

Some where there is a hot feed to the dash lights.

The dimmer switch makes the bulbs blink, as they stay lit

Not into fuse block yet, (back to work in Norfolk, Va)

One last thought, I should shut the drivers door, and see if console lighting works off of  new L switch.

Thoughts and schemes appreciated.

Big 70 birthday 🎂 today.

God bless all
