I've always used power steering fluid. My choice used to be the genuine Mopar stuff, but it's easier to buy whatever brand at any parts store.
It's been my experience, with every old Mopar I've bought with a leaky power steering pump (and that's been more than a few), that the puddle under the car is always red trans fluid, so I've always stayed away from using trans fluid. It's also my understanding that the trans fluid has friction additives for the clutches, so it seems to me that wouldn't make it desirable for use in a PS pump.
Also, stay away from anything that has a stop leak "sealer" in it. No good can come from that.
