RE: [Chrysler300] 300K Alignment Question

Hi Keith, years and years ago I wrote an article that may still be in the club archives. Suffice to say dial in as much positive Caster as you can and maybe three quarters to one degree of negative Camber for spirited driving.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300K Alignment Question

Hi Folks

We have a 4 speed K that we converted to the 15x7 Dodge police wheels and the 235/70(5) Goodyear radials that were available once-upon-a-time.

I’m replacing the steering box now and it will need an alignment so I’m wondering what the optimum specs should be, stock or otherwise? I do have the original specs for K with the 14x6 wheels and bias ply tires but I think that those specs aren’t appropriate for this configuration.

I know a bunch of you have J’s that you’ve put radial tires on and also K owners that have gone to 15” wheels and radials (Don Cole, I’m looking at you😊) I do recall some club web discussions years ago on the topic but I don’t remember the upshot on all this.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Keith
