Ron, I’m assuming you are now asking about installing belts on your 1965 model? If so, Rich is correct, the holes and reinforcing should already be there. One of my 65’s did not have rear belts but the mounts were there, I recall they clip on to a ring but I’m not certain without checking. 

 In my dry California 65 300 Sport, I was pleased to find the original belts, still in the plastic bags with original markings under the rear seat, never installed. 

If you would like some pictures, I’d be happy to take some when I return home. Currently camping for the first time this year, keeping safe.

From 1969 til last year I was using junk yard belts in my C300.

 

I am getting ready to drill the floor of my 300 for new seat belts. All of my seats and upholstery are out and in storage.

 

Does anybody have floor mounted belt photos they could share for locations?

 

In addition, which length lap belt is suggested? 60” or 74” are the options.--- I assume 74” for floor mounted.
