[Chrysler300] 300B new leaf spring install

Looking for advice on the pads between the axle and spring/shock bracket and spring.  Originals are not in great shape, and it doesn't seem like these are easy to find.  Is it ok to leave them off?  Detroit Eaton's site isn't clear on this point.
