There’s got to be more to that story! I was only 4 in 1964. I got my first 300 when I was 15 and it was a 1964 (sport coupe). And it was an “old” car by then. Did a 300F seem like an outdated car in 1964? I did a project where I clipped classified ads for 300Fs from 1960-1970. Interesting to see the prices over that year span.
