You can see them both ways in original press kit and magazine road test photos. I haven't been able to find any pattern, though I'm pretty certain they came both ways.

                          I have noticed several 300 G's that have the above laying across the top of the Ram Manifolds. I'm sure this is incorrect as they should be ran as copper tubing under the manifolds. Mine are copper under the manifolds.  Thoughts ?
