My G doesn't leave a drop anywhere if you use it at least once a week, but when I put it away for an extended period of time (like winter storage) I need to put a good sized pan underneath, because after a couple of weeks, suddenly a small flood of fluid appears. I'm assuming it is half the fluid leaking back out of the torque converter and then the level rises above where it should be in the main body of the trans, and leaks out somewhere like the downshifting/kickdown shaft that only has a (relatively) loosely fitting bushing around it, since fluid is never supposed to reach that high up. Just $0.02 (maybe less) worth. After I read all the replies I've decided to get it on a lift and see if is just a really bad leak that can be fixed with the heat tube suggestion. If it turns out that it needs a new cable I now have leads on several used and maybe a source for a new one. Thanks again everyone.
