I've ordered aerosol engine paint and other types into Canada from Summit Racing and other suppliers several times in the past 10 years without issue. Sometimes I have it shipped to a US address and bring it in myself but I always declare goods coming in and am never questioned, even with some marine bottom paints not available in Canada. I live in B.C.

Interesting about shipping aerosol paints without a permit. Glad I didn't know that when I bought my paints from Parasol - maybe its different if the paint is shipped from Canada.Pete FitchIn a message dated 12/23/2015 10:22:56 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx writes:
Club, When Bob Merritt and I were exploring engine block paints to find a supplier, see this article

I was attempting to obtain a stock of paint for the club store at a good price. During the conversations I was informed by Bill Hirsh that it is illegal for anyone to ship aerosol paint without the proper permits, so that is the reason we cannot stock paint in the club store. I am currently working with Bill to match the air cleaner paint from paint samples when George made a run of the air cleaner paint, that at the time the George paint was considered to be the correct paint to use for them. Bill Hirsh will then be the stocking dealer as he has the proper permitting to ship paints.
