Hello Club,
I'm sending from ground zero. As I mentioned before, my all-metal garage collapsed (pancaked!) on 10 of my antique/classic cars, including four of my 300's. I have been able to rent a large
warehouse and the State Farm adjuster was out yesterday to evaluate them and so far I have no complaints. I have $1000 deductible on each one (never expecting all to get hit at once). The '59 E convertible, the F coupe, and the J coupe all need windshield
replacement as they are either cracked or broken. I would prefer install a very good to excellent quality used windshield rather than a new one. However, if new replacements are satisfactory by the Club, I will consider them. I am searching the net right
now for all possibilities and I welcome all input, suggestions, and references. As I mentioned before, the C300 was severely damaged on the roof and hood, the 300F had severe roof and fender damage, but the damage on the 300J was somewhat less. After boring
you with this unhappy news, I welcome any feedback about windshields (and anything else). Also, we'll see how State Farm behaves!
