next to the distributor will have P 41 plus a build date. The P is for 1960,
and the 41 is for 413. All the 60 413’s were stamped this way. The engine
should have been built before the car was, within a few months I

Folks--I am trying to determine if the engine in my 300 F (convertible) is
original. Does anyone know how to tell that? It is currently out of the car,
which is undergoing a complete restoration. It is a long ram motor, but
beyond that I'm not sure what it is. > > I'm assuming there are
numbers on the engine somewhere, but I haven't been able to find them, so I

them once I do find them. > > If the engine turns out to be

specific enough to help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. >
