Make sure it is the heater core and not the control valve that is leaking. The control valve is in the heater area and leaks on the passenger side carpet. The valve is located behind the glove box. NAPA sells a repair kit for the valve for about $10. I repaired my valve a few years ago but haven't installed it yet. I shut off the antifreeze to the core and I seldom need heat in Georgia. Can these cores be repaired or must they be replaced. If it has to be replaced, any sources for this part would be greatly appreciated.
