Hi All, Was just reading about how Chrysler vastly underrated the horsepower on its street- and maxi wedge engines. (For example, the street wedge 413 was rated at 361hp whereas the actual power was close to 395!) This practice was not uncommon during the horsepower wars in the 1960s nor was it uncommon in later years. My 1993 GMC Typhoon (a Corvette killer) was conservatively rated by GM at 290hp where it regularly dynos closer to 330hp). Curious if any club members with K Rams have ever actually run their cars on a dyno? Is the 390hp figure accurate... low (gasp!)... or actually higher in stock configuration. Appreciate any and all thoughts. 300KL'y, David Morrison Radnor, PA ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
