RE: [Chrysler300] HELP!

A spray product called Fabreze (auto version) works well on musty old car
smells and might help with mouse-gene. Spray on all surfaces with heavy on
the carpet. Citrus-based products also work well on organic/sulfur odors.
Glade deodorant capsules are available for cars, but are more coverup than
anything. Mild leather cleaner for all interior surfaces can't hurt.

I inherited several company cars and offices previously inhabited by
heavy-smoking managers. I replaced carpet and drapes in the offices and let
the cars bake in the hot Kansas and Nebraska sun all summer with the windows
down in order to cook out the stale tobacco smell. Anything that can be
removed from the car should be taken out and placed in the sun if
practical-trunk carpet, seat cushions, trunk junk

Best wishes-let us know if anything helps.

Subject: [Chrysler300] HELP!

I've been away for the past two months, sponging off of my daughter, in
Phoenix.

When I returned home, I opened the trunk of my Chrysler, which was in a
heated garage, and discovered that mice had taken up residence, and that at
least one had died. The smell was as you would have expected.

Does anyone have any suggestions for odor control? All I can think of
right now is to get it outside and open the windows. I'm not sure that I
even
want to get into it for that long!

I'll be waiting for suggestions....
