Re: [Chrysler300] Replacement for instrument glass glue 55-59

I just floated the lens face down on the surface of a shallow pan of warm
water for 15 minutes and it softened the formerly rock hard goop right up.
It could then be scraped off with a fingernail. No scratches in the
plastic lens.

Do not submerge the lens or the white lettering in the depressions on the
back side will wash off!!

If I remember correctly, I was able to clean off the gray goo merely by
using dish soap and warm water, along with a soft sponge. Scotch Brite may
be overkill and will leave scratches. Take your time on this.
