Thanks all for your thougts. The ball joints on my 300H measure about 1-7/8" Because it has a shorter wheelbase than the 300G, it must use the smaller size. My 62 shop manual says to use C-3561 on the New Yorker and Imperial and C-3560 on the Newport and 300s. Thanks again for the help. --- On Tue, 1/3/12, Miklas <ldmiklas@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Miklas <ldmiklas@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] AGAIN: 300H ball joint socket To: chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 5:47 PM My NEW BRITAIN socket measures 2-1/8 at the widest point and 1-7/8 at the narrowest point. I've used this socket on my 300H and on my 300Ls as well as on my 69 RoadRunner. I have the smaller socket also which is for A-body cars. I don't know if there is a larger socket as I've never done ball joints on a LWB 300. Maybe LWB 300s and Imperials utilize a larger ball joint.
