sounds like you have either the wrong d/shaft or the wrong diff or yoke.
This don't make sense, something is really haywire here.
Did you loose the caps off one end??
What's in it now for a U-joint??

Original part # is 1752-624 which is NAPA #315 and Spicer #5-1306X
