[Chrysler300] Re: Driveshaft balancing



Keith,

 

Is there a reason you are having it balanced? Have parts been replaced or
has the driveline been modified?

 

Reason I ask is that most out of balance  conditions are caused by wear
inside the front trunnion housing. A very small amount of wear can cause a
roller to stick, and the driveline to vibrate. There are shops that will
still balance these shafts, sounds like the fellow you spoke with just
didn't want to spend the time with it.
