Re: [Chrysler300] Chrysler 300 choke

Daryl and All:
The long ram cars are all supposed to have two chokes. Coincidently, the
left side choke on my 300F quit working quite a long time ago. Have to get
at fixing it, but car still starts fine under normal "cold" conditions.
The right side maintains the proper fast idle. Not recommended, though.
The "long" short ram cars (300J and ram K) used a covers over the automatic
choke wells since they were equipped with manual chokes.

I have seen 2 Chrysler 300s that only have a working choke on the
passenger side long ram. The drivers side manifold has a steel cap bolted on it in
place of the choke heater. One of the 300s is a 1960 300F and the other one
is a 1961 300G, which I just bought. Is this stock? Or was this done by
someone, and for what reason (both chokes would be too rich of a mixture).
I'm also interested in a left rear tail light assembly that is in good driver
condition (not show quality), with good chrome and no pits or damage.

Thanks

P.S. It's sunny and warm in southern Florida
