[Chrysler300] aussie weather & few 300 qs - sun Time in the NW of USA

Third day of over 105 muggy degrees here, in mid south of Australia, (still just under 100 outside at 11pm now) but on north east side, capital "Surfers Paradise" (sort of like your Miami only smaller) just had it's wettest night in 125 years of records - over 2 feet in a day. Global warming - who really knows, since the bulldozer and chainsaw invented lots of trees/rainforrest chopped down, maybe that a possible best cause??!

few 300 Questions (1) is the timing chain in a 300C 392 the same as 318s, wedges, and what are better brands still available without going double row?

(2) does the dashtop of a 300C just unbolt/unscrew fairly easily so you can better recover the original vinyl that is pretty sad on least loved 3rd 300C, and what is best way (steps) to remove one?

(3) how big/nontricky a job is it to put a new convertor seal in a cast iron torquefilight if one removes/unbolts it from the motor/car?
(4) what happened re maybe making replacement plastuic armrest bases for 300Cs - any news/updates?

Christopher in Australia - our nation's biggest Annual outdoor swap just a few weeks way - Ballarat in Victoria, it usually over 100 degrees first two days, then huge dust/wind, followed by rain on the Sunday - about 3000 sites, and they sold out ages before
