Hi all in Mopar land.

I have a tire failure to share. I own a 23 Model "T" street Roadster. In
1987 I installed a set of Pro Track racing tires. In 2007 I started to get
bouncing from one. Although they where 20 years old, that set of tires only
had 2000 miles on them. I had the balance and trueness checked. All was ok.
Although there was minimal wear, I changed them and that resolved the
bounce. The consensus was the side walls failed and stretched unevenly.  It
is not hard to see, that under continuous pressure, any cord will stretch in
time.
