Scott, I've used a few 134a retrofit kits over the years in other newer cars and as opposed to no air (blowing totally hot), the 134a kits are pretty cool when you're moving. Sitting still they will blow lukewarm air. The recharges have generally only lasted me a year or two before it leaks out, the 134a leaks out a lot quicker if you don't change the seals. I've also used Freeze 12 in other cars without doing any retrofitting or anything and thus far its worked great. It seems to last longer, and blows much colder than the 134a retrofitted systems I've done. All in all I've been much happier with it.
