Has anyone retrofitted their AC systems to use any of the alternate refrigerants out there? I have heard that to retrofit the system with R-134a, you must remove the EPR valve and add a high pressure shutoff switch on the high side, along with a few other modifications. Has anyone tried refrigerants such as Freeze 12 or Free Zone (RB-276)? Scott Tozzi Concord, CA 300F, with low level R-12 refrigerant!
