One year ago yesterday, my very good friend John Hertog passed into eternity. For me, a tremendous loss, as we had built up an inseparable friendship over the past decade. The times we spent together at meets of both clubs searching wrecking yards and just plain old car talk will forever be remembered. Numerous times he helped me out of difficult problems with my F, such as shipping me a spindle so that I could design a disc brake adapter bracket without having to dismantle my car, etc. So that I never forget John, each time I turn on my computer, I see a picture of John at the wheel of my 300F as wall paper. Several times a day I play solitare with John watching on. I know he's there. If only we could bring him back. Rest well my friend. We all love and remember you, each probably for a different reason, but most for your tireless friendship and willingness to be a friend. I cannot remember anyone ever saying a negative word about you.
