[Chrysler300] Re: Ignition Switch Replacement

Paul,

The easiest way to access the ignition switch on the G is through the dash mounted speaker hole. I have found this to be much easier than laying on my back and wrestling with all of the things in the way (i.e. fuse block...).

There are 4 screws which hold the speaker grille and assembly into the dash. Once the speaker is removed, you will easily be able to reach down to the ignition switch. As someone else pointed out, there is a shroud that goes around the switch and holds the light bulb for the switch. Make sure you don't lose it.

Good luck.

I have some screws out but I know I'm missing something. Did anyone do this replacement, and how did you do it? The service manual is of no help. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks.
