[Chrysler300] Re: Pont-a-Mousson 4-speed transmission

I have found a Facel-Vega Pont-a-Mousson 4-speed manual transmission and
bellhousing that is for sale.  I have not seen the unit, but the trans is
described as a Series 4 unit, which is the last version and was made from
about 1959 thru 1964 for Facels with the Chrysler V8.  The seller describes
the trans as used, but the gear teeth look in good shape.  One of the trans
mounting points on the tailshaft housing has broken, but a new piece can be
fabricated and welded on. 
 
I was originally planning to modify a 300F with a 4 speed transmission, but
I am no longer proceeding with the project.
