[Chrysler300] Bill Madden's Tango red 1955 Chrysler C-300 and Timo's Resto last June

The Phoenix car is similar to the one that went at $181,500 at RM auction
6/27/08-VIN3N552283--a radio/heater/power steering (?) delete car-restored

The Phoenix car is VIN 3N551301, the younger brother of our 3N551198.  Glad
to see the siblings looking and doing so well.  These cars apparently listed
for about $4,100, or about $1/lb.

$4,100 invested at 7.3%/year in early 1955 would have grown to about
$181,500 by now (before taxes).   A new Chrysler 300 SRT-8 might list for
$48,000, list price having appreciated at about 4.8%/year from 1955.  So,
you young whippersnappers might want to buy a new Lava Red SRT-8 and put it
up on blocks for the next 50 years.  Let us old timers know how that works
out.  $48,000 at 7% for 50 years might appreciate to $1,413,937!
